The primary objective is to empower participants to create solutions that directly address SW Florida's lagging graduation rates, increase youth leadership, encourage implementation of S.T.E.M. (Science Technology Engineering and Math) education, and living life with purpose. The SW Florida Spring Youth X-Plosion will take place on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at the HODGES UNIVERSITY Naples Campus located at 2647 Professional Circle, Naples FL 34119. This event will include internationally known motivational speakers and will attract youth from over 25 Collier County Schools. The program curriculum is designed to influence them to dream big, plan big, and lead big. In an effort to impact the lives of more than 250 youth in Collier County at no cost to the participants, we will need the help and support of the entire community. The Mother Perry Youth Empowerment Project would be honored if the Collier County Commissioner Board would partner with us as we work to insure that this event is a success by providing transportation through Parks & Recreations.
