Continue Indefinitely Item 11C: Recommendation to review the history and public benefit associated
with the proposed Whippoorwill Lane and Marbella Lakes Drive connection project,consider current
comments from the public and after consideration,provide direction to the County Manager or his
designee prior to soliciting an invitation to bid for this project. (Staff's request in conjunction with
the Homeowners Association request in order to further evaluate traffic impacts and the appropriate
timing of improvements.)

Please be advised that you are scheduled to appear before the Collier County Board of Commissioners at
the meeting of March 12,2013, regarding the above referenced subject.
Your petition to the Board of County Commissioners will be limited to ten minutes. Please be advised
that the Board will take no action on your petition at this meeting. However,your petition may be
placed on a future agenda for consideration at the Board's discretion. If the subject matter is currently
under litigation or is an on-going Code Enforcement case,the Board will hear the item but will not
discuss the item after it has been presented.Therefore,your petition to the Board should be to advise
them of your concern and the need for action by the Board at a future meeting.

Based on the principle of collaboration, this merging of ideas, resources, and
industries is a groundbreaking initiative. The primary objective is to empower
participants to create solutions that directly address SW Florida's lagging
graduation rates, increase youth leadership, encourage implementation of
S.T.E.M. (Science Technology Engineering and Math) education, and living life
with purpose.
The SW Florida Spring Youth X-Plosion will take place on Saturday, March 23,
2013 at the HODGES UNIVERSITY Naples Campus located at 2647
Professional Circle, Naples FL 34119. This event will include internationally
known motivational speakers and will attract youth from over 25 Collier County
Schools. The program curriculum is designed to influence them to dream big, plan
big, and lead big.
In an effort to impact the lives of more than 250 youth in Collier County at no cost
to the participants, we will need the help and support of the entire community. The
Mother Perry Youth Empowerment Project would be honored if the Collier County
Commissioner Board would partner with us as we work to insure that this event is
a success by providing transportation through Parks & Recreations.
Please explain in detail the action you are asking the Commission to take (attach
additional page if necessary):
We would need to use the Parks & Recreation transportation to transport the youth
