EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation that the Board of County Commissioners approve a budget amendment
to the Collier County Community Redevelopment Agency - Bayshore Gateway Triangle
Fund (187) budget that reestablishes funding for post design engineering services for the
Gateway Triangle Residential Area Tertiary Stormwater Project.
OBJECTIVE: Amend the FY 2013 budget of the Collier County Community Redevelopment
Agency - Bayshore Gateway Triangle (CRA) to include funding for post design engineering
services for the Gateway Triangle Residential Area Tertiary Stormwater Project.
CONSIDERATIONS: In FY 2012 the CRA issued a work order in the amount of $44,715 for
post - design services required for the Gateway Triangle Residential Area Tertiary Stormwater
Project. At the end of FY 2012 the work order was closed sweeping the unexpended portion of
the work order budget into CRA Fund (187) carryforward. The project is still underway and
post- design services need to continue. Accordingly, staff is requesting approval of a budget
amendment that reestablishes the unexpended portion of the post - design services budget.
FISCAL IMPACT: At the end of FY 2012 unexpended funds for post design services for the
Gateway Triangle Residential Tertiary Stormwater Project, in the amount of $33,500, were
swept into CRA Fund (187) carry forward. The budget amendment will appropriate carry
forward and reestablish the post- design services budget in Bayshore Gateway /Triangle CRA
Fund 187- 138325.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed by the County Attorney's Office,
does not present a legal issue and only requires a majority vote for Board approval —SRT.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: None.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve a budget amendment reestablishing the Gateway Triangle
Residential Area Tertiary Stormwater Project post design engineering services budget in the
amount of $33,500.
