EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to authorize a budget amendment to recognize revenue for projects within the
Transportation Supported Gas Tax Fund (313) in the amount of $17,380.
OBJECTIVE: For the Board of County Commissioners to authorize a budget amendment to
recognize revenue for the Traffic Impact Study Review, and Planned Unit Development (PUD)
Monitoring/Traffic Counts Payment -in -Lieu within the Transportation Supported Gas Tax Fund
(313) in the amount of $17,380.
CONSIDERATIONS: Funds have been collected specifically as payment -in -lieu, and project
review fees, from the application and monitoring process. These funds are required to be tracked
and spent on projects for which the developments were identified for mitigation or on consultant
contracts to perform the studies on the developments behalf under required monitoring
conditions.
Those funds were collected in fiscal year 2013 and exceeded the revenue budget. The County
wishes to recognize those funds and have the funds transferred into the appropriate project
accounts as follows:

FISCAL IMPACT: In fiscal year 2013 money was deposited into the Transportation Supported
Gas Tax Fund. A budget amendment is required to recognize additional revenue and appropriate
into the correct projects in the amount of $17,380.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed by the County Attorney's Office,
does not present a legal issue and only requires a majority vote for Board approval —SRT.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no growth management impact associated
with this Executive Summary.
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners recognize funds in the
amount of $17,380., and authorize the necessary budget amendment.
