EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Re-appointment of members to Ochopee Fire Control District Advisory Committee.
OBJECTIVE: To re-appoint two members to the Ochopee Fire Control District Advisory
Committee to serve terms expiring on December 31, 2014.
CONSIDERATIONS: The Ochopee Fire Control District Advisory Committee has two
vacancies due to two terms expiring on December 31, 2012. This five member committee
advises the Board on the budget and operation of the Ochopee Fire Control District. Members
should reside within the taxing district. Full terms are two years.
A list of the current membership is included in the backup.
Two members terms expired on December 31, 2012. The positions were advertised and the
following applications and resumes were received by interested citizens:

RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners considers the
recommendations for re-appointment, re-appoint two members and direct the County Attorney to
prepare a resolution confirming the re-appointments.
