It does this by investing in non -profit organizations that offer diversity- oriented programs focusing on: digital literacy and computer skills; community service and volunteerism initiatives; and building tomorrow's leaders. For over 30 years, Comcast has been a notable partner in the Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida's (JA) Business Hall of Fame Awards. Comcast also awarded a Gold Medal Grant to Amigos en Cristo, Inc. (Amigos Center) to enhance the digital literacy /technology skills development program of its Immokalee computer lab. The lab is a large facility located in the rural neighborhood of families who rely on the social and immigration services of the Amigos Center. Recently, Champions for Learning recognized Comcast in its 25th Anniversary Honor Roll.
