Resolution 2018-051 RESOLUTION NO. 2018 -51
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, REAPPOINTING BARBARA MINCH
ROSENBERG AND ALICE CARLSON TO THE COLLIER COUNTY
EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES AUTHORITY.
WHEREAS, Collier County Resolution No. 99-177, established the Educational Facilities
Authority for Collier County pursuant to Sections 243.18 through 243.40, inclusive, Florida
Statutes (Higher Educational Facilities Authorities Law); and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 99-177 provides that the Authority shall be composed of five
members; and
WHEREAS, three seats on the Authority shall expire on March 23, 2018; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Collier County Educational Facilities Authority has provided the Board
of County Commissioners with its recommendation for reappointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that BARBARA MINCH
ROSENBERG and ALICE J. CARLSON are each hereby reappointed to their respective seats on
the Collier County Educational Facilities Authority to serve five-year terms expiring on March
23, 2023.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED after majority vote on the 13th day of March, 2018.
