EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to appoint a member to the Health Facilities Authority.
OBJECTIVE: To appoint one member to the Health Facilities Authority, to a four-year term expiring on
March 13, 2022.
CONSIDERATIONS: The Health Facilities Authority is five member authority created on November
20, 1979, by Ordinance No. 79-95 in accordance with Chapter 154 of the Florida Statutes. The purpose
of the authority is to assist health facilities in the acquisition, construction, financing and refinanci ng of
projects in any incorporated or unincorporated area within the geographical limits of Collier County.
Terms are four years. A list of the current membership is included in the backup.
There is one current vacancy on this authority. The vacancy was advertised and applications were
received from the following:

STAFF RECOMMENDATION: That David Wolff be appointed to this authority to a four-year term
which shall expire on March 13, 2022. A recommendation memo is included in the backup.
FISCAL IMPACT: None.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: None.
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners adopts the Staff Recommendation,
and directs the County Attorney to prepare a resolution confirming the appointment.
