EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to authorize a budget amendment to recognize carry forward for
projects within the Transportation Supported Gas Tax Fund (313) in the amount of
$20,250.00 (Projects 60066 and 60085).
OBJECTIVE: For the Board of County Commissioners to authorize a budget amendment to
recognize carry forward for Traffic Impact Study Review and Planned Unit Development (PUD)
Fair Share Intersections Projects within the Transportation Supported Gas Tax Fund (313) in the
amount of$20,250.00.
CONSIDERATIONS: Funds have been collected specifically as payment-in-lieu, and project
review fees from the application and monitoring process. These funds are required to be tracked
and spent on projects for which the developments were identified for mitigation or on consultant
contracts to perform the studies on the developments behalf under required monitoring
conditions.
Funds deposited within FY14 to be recognized as Carry Forward and re-appropriated into FY15
projects as follows:

TIS Review(60085) $ 8,250.00
Total $20,250.00
FISCAL IMPACT: A budget amendment is needed to recognize carry forward and appropriate
into the correct projects in the amount of $20,250.00 within the Transportation Gas Tax Fund
(313).
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS:, This item has been reviewed by the County Attorney, does not
present a legal issue and requires a majority vote for Board approval. —JAK
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no Growth Management Impact associated
with this Executive Summary.
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners authorize the necessary
budget amendment.
