EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to approve a Resolution and Satisfactions of Lien for the 1991, 1993, 1994, 1995,
and 1996 Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special Assessments where the County has
received payment in full satisfaction of the liens. Fiscal impact is 568.50 to record the Satisfactions
of Lien.
OBJECTIVE: Approve Satisfactions of Lien for the 1991 (account number 3706); 1993
(account number 990); 1994 (account number 848); 1995 (account number 1070); and 1996
(account number 1012) Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special Assessments
where the county has received payment in full satisfaction of the liens.
CONSIDERATIONS: Resolution No. 93 -29, adopted by the Board of County Commissioners
(Board) on January 26, 1993, recorded a list of property owners delinquent in paying the 1991
Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special Assessments, and authorized mailing a
written notice of the imposition of a lien to each property owner. Resolution No. 93 -29 was
recorded on February 1, 1993, in Official Records Book 1793, Pages 459 through 598 of the
Official Records of Collier County, Florida. The Resolution placed a lien on certain residential
properties for the 1991 Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special Assessments.
Resolution No. 94 -694, adopted by the Board on September 20, 1994, recorded a list of property
owners delinquent in paying the 1993 Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special
Assessments, and authorized mailing a written notice of the imposition of a lien to each property
owner. Resolution No. 94 -694 was recorded on September 22, 1994, in Official Records Book
1987, Pages 1514 through 1749 of the Official Records of Collier County, Florida. The
Resolution placed a lien on certain residential properties for the 199' ) Solid Waste Collection and
Disposal Services Special Assessments.
Resolution No. 95 -475. adopted by the Board on August 22, 1995, recorded a list of property
owners delinquent in paving the 1994 Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special
Assessments, and authorized mailing a written notice of the imposition of a lien to each property
owner. Resolution No. 95 -475 was recorded on September 14, 1995, in Official Records Book
2099, Pages 1338 through 1574 of the Official Records of Collier County, Florida. The
Resolution placed a lien on certain residential properties for the 1994 Solid Waste Collection and
Disposal Services Special Assessments.
Resolution No. 2000 -236, adopted by the Board on August 1, 2000, recorded a list of property
owners delinquent in paying the 1995 Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special
Assessments, and authorized mailing a written notice of the imposition of a lien to each property
owner. Resolution No. 2000 -236 was recorded on August 8, 2000, in Official Records Book
2707, Pages 3195 through 3273 of the Official Records of Collier County, Florida. The
Resolution placed a lien on certain residential properties for the 1995 Solid Waste Collection and
Disposal Services Special Assessments.

Resolution No. 2000 -237, adopted by the Board on August 1, 2000, recorded a list of property
owners delinquent in paying the 1996 Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special
Assessments, and authorized mailing a written notice of the imposition of a lien to each property
owner. Resolution No. 2000 -237 was recorded on August 8, 2000, in Official Records Book
2708, Pages 0199 through 0309 of the Official Records of Collier County, Florida. The
Resolution placed a lien on certain residential properties for the 1996 Solid Waste Collection and
Disposal Services Special Assessments.
Collier County Ordinance No. 90 -30, as amended, provides that Satisfactions of Lien shall be
approved by Resolution. The attached Resolution lists five accounts (account numbers 3706,
990, 848, 1070, and 1012) that have paid in full satisfaction of the liens for the 1991, 1993, 1994,
1995, and 1996 Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special Assessments.
FISCAL IMPACT: The fiscal impact for recording the Satisfactions of Lien and the Resolution
is $68.50. Funds are available in the Water -Sewer Operating Fund (408).
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been approved for form and legality and requires a
majority vote for Board approval. - JAB
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no Growth Management impact associated with
this item.
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners, Ex- officio the Governing
Board of the Collier County Water -Sewer District, approve and authorize the Chair to sign the
Resolution and five Satisfactions of Lien for the 1991, 1993, 1994, 1995, and 1996 (account
numbers 3706, 990, 848, 1070, and 1012) Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special
Assessments.

A RESOLUTION APPROVING SATISFACTIONS OF LIEN
FOR CERTAIN ACCOUNTS THAT HAVE BEEN PAID IN
FULL, INCLUDING INTEREST, ARISING FROM THE
1991, 1993, 1994, 1995 AND 1996 DELINQUENT SOLID
WASTE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL SERVICES
SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Collier County Ordinance No. 90 -30, as amended, the Board of
County Commissioners (Board) on January 26, 1993, adopted Resolution No. 93 -29 authorizing
the recording of notices of liens for the Delinquent Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services
Special Assessments for 1991: and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Collier Count- Ordinance No. 90 -30, as amended, the
Board on September 20, 1994, adopted Resolution No. 94 -694 authorizing the recording of
notices of liens for the Delinquent Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special
Assessments for 1993, and
WHEREAS. pursuant to Collier County Ordinance No. 90 -30, as amended. the Board on
August 221. 1995, adopted Resolution No. 93 -473 authorizing the recording of notices of liens for
the Delinquent Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special. Assessments for 1994; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Collier County Ordinance No. 90 -30, as amended, the Board
on August 1, 2000, adopted Resolution No. 2000 -236 authorizing the recording of notices of liens
for the Delinquent Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special Assessments for 1995.
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Collier County Ordinance No. 90 -30. as amended, the Board on
August 1. 2000. adopted Resolution No. 2000 -237 authorizing the recording. of notices of liens for
the Delinquent Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services Special Assessments for 1996. and
WHEREAS. Collier Count• Ordinance No. 90 -30. as amended. requires the Board to
approve by Resolution and record in the Official Records Satisfactions of Lien on all accounts
that have been paid in full.
