Dear Chairman Henning:
I am writing on behalf of my colleagues on the Marco Island City Council to request that the Collier
County Board of County Commissioners hold a joint meeting with our City Council to discuss
matters of mutual interest. As you may recall, the last such meeting was held on December 4,
2008.
Because our meeting room facilities on Marco Island are limited, we would welcome the
opportunity to attend the meeting in your chambers, when it is convenient for you and your fellow
commissioners. May we suggest discussing the following topics:
• Ambulance availability and transport capability on Marco Island
. Goodland Road (CR92A) improvements and desired time frame
• Tigertail Beach signage and parking
• City / County relationship
We are, of course, open to other topics that you may wish to discuss. Please ask your staff to
contact City Clerk Laura Litzan at 389-5010 to finalize the date, time, place and agenda.
