EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to approve the attached t-hangar and tie-down agreements for the Everglades
Airpark, Immokalee Regional Airport and Marco Island Executive Airport as executed by the
Airport Manager's and the County Manager's Designee.
OBJECTIVE: For the Board of County Commissioners (BCC)to approve the attached t-hangar and tie-
down agreements executed by the Airport Managers and the County Manager's Designee for the
Everglades Airpark, Immokalee Regional Airport and Marco Island Executive Airport.
CONSIDERATIONS: Ordinance 2010-10, Section Ten (D) indicates that the Airport Authority's
Executive Director is responsible for the administration, management and operation of the airport and
airport facilities. In the absence of an Executive Director, the Airport Managers and the County
Manager's Designee have executed the attached temporary/short-term agreements for t-hangars and tie-
downs.
To efficiently manage and maintain a continuous revenue stream for these facilities, it is necessary to fill
vacant hangars in a timely manner. It is normal practice for airports to have standard tie-down and hangar
lease agreements to ensure consistent treatment of all hangar tenants and sustain maximum occupancy of
airport facilities.
FISCAL IMPACT: There is no direct fiscal impact associated with the approval of this Executive
Summary.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no growth management impact associated with this
Executive Summary.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed by the County Attorney, is approved as to
form and legality, and requires majority vote for approval. -JAK
RECOMMENDATION: That the BCC approve the attached t-hangar and tie-down agreements for the
Everglades Airpark, Immokalee Regional Airport and Marco Island Executive Airport as executed by the
Airport Managers and the County Manager's Designee.
