Resolution 2018-034 RESOLUTION NO. 2018 -34
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, REAPPOINTING SUSAN CALKINS TO
THE LAND ACQUISITION ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 2002-63, established the Land Acquisition Advisory
Committee to assist the Board of County Commissioners in establishing an "Active Properties
Acquisition List" with qualified purchase recommendations consistent with the goals of Conservation
Collier; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2002-63, as amended, provides that this Advisory Committee shall
consist of seven to nine members representing the broad and balanced interests of Collier County Citizens
as set forth in the Ordinance; and
WHEREAS,there are currently two vacancies on this Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice soliciting
applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Land Acquisition Advisory Committee has provided the Board of County
Commissioners with its recommendation for reappointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that SUSAN CALKINS, representing environmental/conservation/
educational interests, is hereby reappointed to her seat on the Land Acquisition Advisory Committee, to
serve another three-year term expiring on February 11, 2021.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED upon majority vote on the 27th day of February, 2018.
