EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to reappoint a member to the Historical Archaeological Preservation
Board.
OBJECTIVE: To reappoint a member to the Historical Archaeological Preservation Board to a
three year term expiring on October 1, 2018.
CONSIDERATIONS: This 7 member committee is vested with the power, authority, and
jurisdiction to designate, regulate, and administer historical and archaeological resources in
Collier County, under the direct jurisdiction and control of the Board of County Commissioners.
Membership is from the following categories: a. history; b. archaeology; c. real estate, land
development, or finance; d. architecture; e. law or urban planning; and f. 2 citizens at large.
Terms are 3 years. A list of the current membership is included in the backup.
Sharon Kenny's seat on this committee expired on October 1, 2015. The vacancy was advertised
