EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to appoint three members to the Radio Road East of Santa Barbara
Blvd. Advisory Committee
OBJECTIVE: To reappoint two members and appoint one new member to the Radio Road East
of Santa Barbara Blvd. Advisory Committee.
CONSIDERATIONS: The Radio Road East of Santa Barbara Boulevard to Davis Boulevard
Advisory Committee was created on July 28, 2009 by Ordinance No. 2009-44. This 5 member
committee recommends to the Board of County Commissioners an itemized budget, and
recommends work programs and priorities in accordance with the adopted budget in carrying out
the priorities of the MSTU. Members must reside within the MSTU. Terms are 4 years. A list of
the current membership is included in the backup.
One member resigned in June 2015, and two other seats expired on October 27, 2015. The
vacancies were advertised and the following applications were received:

ATTENDANCE: Ms. Bundy and Mr. Johnson have had no unexcused absences in the past two

COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION: The Committee recommends that Ms. Bundy and Mr.
Johnson be reappointed to their respective seats for four-year terms expiring on October 27,
2019, and further recommends that Ms. Amodeo be appointed to fulfill the remainder of a vacant
term on the committee which shall expire on October 27, 2016. Recommendation memos are
included in the backup.
FISCAL IMPACT: None.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: None.
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners adopts the Committee
Recommendation, and directs the County Attorney to prepare a resolution confirming the
appointments.
