PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, Bentley Village opened its doors in 1985 and has operated
continuously for 30 years, helping the senior population and providing
a significant and positive economic impact to Collier County through
its employment of more than 500 people; and,
WHEREAS, Bentley Village is a continuing care retirement community, offering
independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing and memory support
residences to more than 700 people; and,
WHEREAS, Bentley Village is owned by the privately held corporation known as
Vi. Vi at Bentley Village is dedicated to providing quality
environments, services and programs to enrich the lives of older
adults; and,
WHEREAS, Bentley Village has launched a $70 million redevelopment project
that includes the construction of two new resort-style clubhouses
and 72 new independent living apartments; and,
NOW THEREFORE, be it proclaimed that the Collier County Board of County
Commissioners hereby honors the work and contributions of Vi at Bentley Village
to the Collier County community.
