EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to accept and appropriate a private donation of $5,000 to benefit the Collier
County Public Library with hurricane Irma restorations.
OBJECTIVE: To accept and appropriate a private donation to benefit the Collier County Public Library
with hurricane Irma restorations.
CONSIDERATIONS: On December 22, 2017, a donor who prefers to remain anonymous, contributed
$5,000 to the Collier County Public Library with the request that the money is used for Hurricane Irma
restorations.
FISCAL IMPACT: A Budget Amendment is needed to appropriate the $5,000 donation within the
Library’s 129 Fund, Project Number 50154.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed by the County Attorney, is approved as to
form and legality, and requires majority vote for approval. -JAK
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no Growth Management impact resulting from this
action.
RECOMMENDATION: To authorize a Budget Amendment to recognize and appropriate the private
donation of $5,000 to benefit the Collier County Public Library with hurricane Irma restorations.
