PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, the Provence -A/pes -Cote dAzur (PACA) veep n of Fro ce has developed wonderful
comechans with Southwest Florida and Collier Cant), an delegates' past visits to our
IWOM, and,
WHEREAS, Collier County and its Business and Economic Development Division have worked to develop
a mw4d -c /au environment and business culftre that sydporh startup and innovation
companies from across the wor /d, and,
WHEREAS, Collier County has consistently welcomed with great pleasure Fmwh companies,
businesses and entrepreneurs seeking to develop business opportrnnities in our region;
and,
WHEREAS, the Collier County Board of Canty Commissioners approved the promotion of on inbound
development mission organized by the two state - sponsored networks in France
RMSIPACA region, a hub for business creation and growth in Sautherm France, area;
WHEREAS, the objective of the inbound business development mission is to p�ovnote Collier County
and recruit international canpanies to the region, and
WHEREAS, the mission includes a three day training camp during which the visiting French
executives will interact with local experts, advisors and potential partners and investors,•
and
WHEREAS, RE775 has established a successful executive training pbgram for miwative French
companies wi /ling to expand to the United States, which could be headquartered in
Collier Canty, • and
WHEREAS, Collier County strong /y endorses this type of international partnership and endeavor and
looks forward to -hosting French companies and facilitating strategic linkages between our
companies and organrzat/ons that enable them to be successful in growing their business
mum /ties; and,
WHEREAS, Collier County is pleased French trade group RE7 =5 has come back to our County for the
second straight year, helping establish a /ang -term connection between our community
and french entrepreneurs and universities.
NOW THERB�ORE, be it proclaimed that the Collier Cownty Board of County Commissiwwrs hereby
declares October 19 -21, 2015, be designated as
COLLIER RETIS SYMPOSIUM DAYS
