EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to approve and authorize the Chairman to execute Contract No. 15 -6382-
2, "Grant Funded Professional Services for Airports" with Hole Montes, Atkins North
America, Inc., and AVCON, Inc.
OBJECTIVE: To obtain approval for grant funded professional service contracts for use by the
Collier County Airport Authority (CCAA) and other County Divisions.
CONSIDERATIONS: On September 8, 2015 (Agenda Item 16G 1) the Board of County
Commissioners (Board) approved the Selection Committee ranking for seven (7) proposers on
RFP 15- 6382 -2 "Grant Funded Professional Services for Airports," and approved the negotiation
of contracts with the first three (3) firms:
1. Hole Montes
2. Atkins North America, Inc.
3. AVCON, Inc.
The attached contracts will allow the Airport Authority to procure small (less than $200,000)
work orders for engineering services while meeting all requirements for grant funding.
FISCAL IMPACT: Funds are available in various department budgets that use these
agreements.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no Growth Management Impact associated
with this Executive Summary.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item is approved as to form and legality, and requires
majority vote for Board approval. —SRT
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board, acting as the Collier County Airport Authority,
approves and authorizes the Chairman to execute Contract No. 15- 6382 -2, "Grant Funded
Professional Services for Airports" with Hole Montes, Atkins North America, Inc., and AVCON,
Inc.
