EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to recognize and appropriate revenue for Special Services to the Facilities
Management Division Cost Center and approve any necessary Fiscal Year 2014 -2015 Budget
Amendments.
OBJECTIVE: To recognize and appropriate Special Services Revenue in the County Maintenance
Budget in the amount of $303,490.05 for Fiscal Year 2014 -2015.
CONSIDERATIONS: The Division of Facilities Management is called upon to provide Special Services
for building maintenance when requested by various departments. Facilities Management is reimbursed
by departments for Special Services per the budget instructions. Budget amendments are necessary to
recognize revenue and place the revenue in the proper expense appropriation within Facilities
Management's Cost Centers.
FISCAL IMPACT: This action will increase the appropriation for Maintenance Services (Fund 001) by
$303,490.05.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been approved as to form and legality and requires
majority vote for approval. — CMG
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no growth management impact associated with this

RECOMMENDATION: That the Board authorizes the necessary Budget Amendment to recognize and
appropriate revenues from Special Services in the amount of $303,490.05.
