Collier Commission, specifically Commissioner Fiala, asked Victor Valdes and Andy
Solis to "poll" stakeholders about, "How to increase effectiveness of Advisory
group ".
Victor Valdes invited N. Gamez, ME Cash, K. Capolino, A. Saldano, E. Padron, I.
Terrero to meeting at Golden Gate Public Library.
The consensus of the group decided that it is tirne for Naples to demonstrate a
"Common Unity" (or Community) with an objective, positive partnership with the
Collier County Government.
The following participants have contributed to the formation of the Multicultural
Community Advisory Alliance: Maggie Alvarez, Felipe Aguirre, Adriana Buitrago,
President David Borofsky (Hodges University), Kelly Capolino, Mary Ellen Cash,
Colin G. Feng, Cpl. Noel Gamez, Lt. Rene Gonzalez, Achie McEachern, Daniel &

Our focus will be to use a collective voice that communicates and /or provides factual
information in order to build the trust of governing boards within Collier County in a
non - partisan, objective manner.
All analysis of topics will be based on measureable and verifiable data.
We will strive to maintain focus based on the current topics concerning local
governance.
Collectively pool resources (time and talent) maximizing our capacity to research and
address significant topics that impact our multicultural community.
Convene and connect stakeholders to address topics that effect the multicultural
community.
Collaboratively advocate for policy within local government and civic organizations.
Communicate our vision and mission throughout the community using our collective
voice and resources.
