EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to approve and authorize the Chairman to execute Contract No. 15-6382, "Grant
Funded Professional Services for Coastal Zone" with Atkins North America, Inc., CB&I
Environmental & Infrastructure, Inc., Humiston & Moore Engineers, P.A., and Olsen Associates,
Inc.
OBJECTIVE: To obtain approval for grant funded professional service contracts for use by
Collier County Coastal Zone Management and other County Divisions.
CONSIDERATION: On May 12, 2015 (Agenda Item 16A7) the Board approved the Selection
Committee ranking for the five (5) proposers on RFP 15-6382 "Grant Funded Professional
Services for Coastal Zone", and approved the negotiation of contracts with the first four (4)
firms.
Staff has successfully negotiated contracts with:
Atkins North America, Inc.
CB&I Environmental & Infrastructure, Inc.
Humison&Moore Engineers, P.A.
Olsen Associates, Inc.
The attached contracts will allow Coastal Zone Management to procure small (less than
$200,000) work orders for engineering services while meeting all requirements for grant funding.
FISCAL IMPACT: Funds are available in various department budgets that use these
agreements.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no growth management impact associated
with this Executive Summary.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been approved as to form and legality and
requires majority vote for approval.—CMG
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of Collier County Commissioners approves and
authorizes the Chairman to execute Contract No. 15-6382, "Grant Funded Professional Services
for Coastal Zone" with Atkins North America, Inc., CB&I Environmental & Infrastructure, Inc.,
Humiston &Moore Engineers, P.A., and Olsen Associates, Inc.
