An informational meeting was held on February 26, 2015 at which representatives of all the districts invited to submit proposals were in attendance. At that meeting, the collective group requested additional time to prepare their proposals and a new submission date of April 16, 2015 was mutually agreed upon. Two proposals were received by the due date, one from Greater Naples Fire District and one from the County's Bureau of Emergency Services. A workshop was held on June 2, 2015 at which both proposers were given an opportunity to present their proposal for service provision and Commissioners were able to ask questions.
