EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to authorize a budget amendment to recognize revenue for projects within
Transportation Capital Funds in the amount of $175,713.03 (Projects 60085, 69081, 60088, and
60132).
OBJECTIVE: For the Board of County Commissioners to authorize a budget amendment to
recognize revenue for the Fair Share Intersections Program, Countywide Pathways Program, and
Traffic Impact Study Review,within the Transportation Supported Gas Tax Fund (313).
CONSIDERATIONS: Funds have been collected specifically as payment-in-lieu, project
review fees, and fair share payments from the application and monitoring process. These funds
are required to be tracked and expended for mitigation or studies on behalf of the developments
as required for monitoring conditions.
The revenue received for the Immokalee Road @ CR-951 Project is a proportionate share
payment for Cameron Commons within the Heritage Bay PUD. The payment was determined
during the site development plan review process.
These funds were collected in fiscal year 2015 and exceeded the budgeted revenues. It is now
appropriate to recognize these revenues and transfer the funds into the following projects:

FISCAL IMPACT: A budget amendment is required to recognize the additional revenue
exceeding FY15 budgeted amounts and appropriate into the correct projects in the amount of
$175,713.03 within the Transportation Supported Gas Tax Fund (313).
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed by the County Attorney, does not
raise any legal issues and requires a majority vote for Board approval. -JAK
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no growth management impact associated
with this Executive Summary.
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners recognizes funds in the
amount of$175,713.03, and authorizes the necessary budget amendment.
