Collier County Industrial Development Authority 5100 Tamiami Trail North, Suite 103 Naples, Florida 34103 (239) 263-8060 March 17, 2015 Wanda Rodriguez,Advisory Board Coordinator Office of the County Attorney 3299 Tamiami Trail East Naples, FL 34112 Re: Appointments to Industrial Development Authority Dear Ms. Rodriguez: The Industrial Development Authority has two vacancies, one as a result of the death of a member, and the other as a result of a member no longer being a resident of Collier County. You have advertised these vacancies, and the following persons have submitted applications: Andrew J. Dean Robert R. Jones The Industrial Development Authority law does not require that applicants possess knowledge or experience in particular areas, however, when evaluating applications we look for relevant experience to the work of the Authority and interest in economic development. It is clear from the applications that both of these applicants possess both the experience and interest to make them valuable members of the Authority, and therefore I would recommend their appointment to fill the two vacancies. I understand the terms of the two vacancies expire on June 12, 2017 and April 13, 2019 respectively. To make it as random as possible, I would suggest that when the resolution of appointment is prepared, Mr. Dean be given the appointment that expires June 12,2017,and Mr. Jones be given the appointment that expires April 13, 2019 If you need further information, please give me a call. Very truly yours, r Donald A. Pickworth Executive Director and Counsel Packet Page -962- 3/24/2015 16.H.3.
