EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to approve a budget amendment in the amount of $1,000 for a donation
previously received by the Supervisor of Elections.
OBJECTIVE: To obtain the Board of Commissioner's approval to recognize carry forward in
the Supervisor of Elections Fund 081, Art for Democracy Project 50076, and appropriate the
expenditure.
CONSIDERATIONS: The Supervisor of Elections received in kind contributions totaling
$1,000.00 for a special project named "Art for Democracy." The Art for Democracy project will
kick off during the 2016 Election cycle with a calendar and other items designed by local
students. The purpose of this Executive Summary and Budget Amendment are to recognize this
donation in Fund 081.
FISCAL IMPACT: The contribution was received in prior years and is in carry forward of the
Supervisor of Elections Fund 081, Art for Democracy Project 50076. Budget amendment will
recognize the carry forward and appropriate the expenditure.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item does not present any legal issue and requires a
majority vote for Board approval. -JAB

RECOMMENDATION: That the Collier County Board of County Commissioners authorizes
it's Chairman to approve the budget amendment.
