Resolution 2018-018 RESOLUTION NO. 2018- 18 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, REAPPOINTING PATRICIA SHERRY AND APPOINTING GARY BROMLEY TO THE LAND ACQUISITION ADVISORY COMMITTEE. WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 2002-63, established the Land Acquisition Advisory Committee to assist the Board of County Commissioners in establishing an "Active Properties Acquisition List" with qualified purchase recommendations consistent with the goals of Conservation Collier; and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2002-63, as amended, provides that this Advisory Committee shall consist of seven to nine members representing the broad and balanced interests of Collier County Citizens as set forth in the Ordinance; and WHEREAS, there is currently one vacancy on this Advisory Committee, and three seats which shall expire on February 11, 2018; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice soliciting applications from interested parties; and WHEREAS, the Land Acquisition Advisory Committee has provided the Board of County Commissioners with its recommendation for appointment and reappointment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that PATRICIA SHERRY, representing general civic/citizen interests, is hereby reappointed to the Land Acquisition Advisory Committee upon the expiration of her current term, to serve another three-year term expiring on February 11, 2021,and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that GARY BROMLEY, representing general civic/citizen interests, is hereby appointed to the Land Acquisition Advisory Committee effective February 12, 2018, to a three-year term expiring on February 11,2021.
