Thank you. 16E 4 RESOLUTION NO. 2018-0 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, DECLARING A PUBLIC PURPOSE FOR COLLIER COUNTY EMS DIVISION TO ACCEPT UNSOLICITED DONATIONS FROM MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC PROVIDED IN APPRECIATION FOR COUNTY EMS SERVICES. WHEREAS,the Collier County EMS Division occasionally receives unsolicited monetary donations from members of public provided in appreciation for County EMS Services; and WHEREAS, Collier County EMS Division recommends that the Board of County Commissioners authorize the acceptance of these monetary donations,authorize the EMS Division to deposit the donations into EMS Fund 490 Miscellaneous Revenue, and authorize the EMS Division to spend the donations in a manner consistent with any valid public purpose; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County, Florida, finds that there is a public purpose to authorize Collier County EMS Division to accept these unsolicited donations and to spend the donations for a valid public purpose. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners, Collier County, Florida, that: 1. The Board declares that there is a public purpose for the acceptance and use of the unsolicited monetary donations as described herein. 2. Collier County EMS Division is authorized to accept unsolicited monetary donations provided in appreciation for EMS Services; funds shall be deposited into EMS Fund 490 Miscellaneous Revenue. 3.
