EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to appoint two members to the Golden Gate Community Center Advisory Board.
OBJECTIVE: To appoint one member and reappoint one member to the Golden Gate Community
Center Advisory Board to serve three-year terms expiring on December 31, 2020.
CONSIDERATIONS: This 5 member committee was created by Ord. No. 75 -4 to advise the Board of
County Commissioners on the budget and operation of the Golden Gate Community Center. Members
must reside within the boundaries of the Golden Gate Community Center Municipal Services Special
Taxing District. Terms are 3 years. A list of the current membership is included in the backup.
Two seats on this committee expired on December 31, 2017, and there also is one additional vacancy. The
vacancies were advertised and the following applications were received:

COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners appoint Cecilia
Zenti, and reappoint Ernest Bretzmann, to three-year term which shall expire on December 31, 2020. A
recommendation email is included in the backup.
FISCAL IMPACT: None.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: None.
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners adopts the Committee
Recommendation, and directs the County Attorney to prepare a resolution confirming the appointment
and reappointment.
