EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to approve the addition of one (1) classification to the 2018 Fiscal Year Pay &
Classification Plan made from October 1, 2017 through December 31, 2017.
OBJECTIVE: For the Board of County Commissioners to ratify the addition of one (1) new
classification of Site Plans Reviewer, Associate within the 2018 Fiscal Year Pay & Classification Plan.
CONSIDERATIONS: Pursuant to Ordinance No. 13-40, the Board of County Commissioners has
authorized the County Manager to make additions, modifications and deletions to the annual Fiscal Year
Pay and Classification Plan, subject to retroactive ratification by the Board. This occurs three times
during the fiscal year - in January, in April and in July.
The only change this period is the addition of one new classification , Site Plans Reviewer, Associate,
based on the needs of the organization and business unit, to the 2018 Fiscal Year Pay & Classification
Plan.
FISCAL IMPACT: This action will have no fiscal impact to the County.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no growth management impact associated with this
Executive Summary.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item is approved as to form and legality and requires majority vote
for approval. - CMG
RECOMMENDATION: To approve the addition of one classification to the 2018 Fiscal Year Pay &
Classification Plan.
