Resolution 2017-217 RESOLUTION NO. 2017 - 217
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, REAPPOINTING PATRICIA
SPENCER AND FLORENCE HOLMES TO THE GOLDEN GATE
BEAUTIFICATION ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 87-78 confirmed the creation of the Golden
Gate Beautification Advisory Committee which advises the Board of County Commissioners
(Board) on matters pertaining to the Golden Gate Beautification Municipal Service Taxing Unit
(MSTU); and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 87-78, as subsequently amended, provides that this Advisory
Committee shall consist of five members who represent the voting precincts within the MSTU;
and
WHEREAS, two seats on this Advisory Committee expired on October 6, 2017; and
WHEREAS, the Board previously provided public notice soliciting applications from
interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Advisory Committee has provided the Board with its recommendation
for reappointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that PATRICIA SPENCER,
representing Precinct 326, and FLORENCE HOLMES, representing Precinct 323, are each
hereby reappointed to their respective seats on the Golden Gate Beautification Advisory
Committee to serve four-year terms which shall expire on October 6, 2021.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED upon majority vote on the 14th day of November, 2017.
