5 lying outside the boundaries of any incorporated municipality; and
42-WHEREAS, Frank Road from Golden Cate Parkway to Pine Ridge Road and ,
Goodlette Road from the Tamiami Trail to Golden Cste Parkway when they were rs W44_ .4
state roads were named by the Legislature of the State of Florida (Special
Acts, Ch. 71-409, 11 and 2, respectively) effective June 23, 1971; and ,
WHEREAS, Coodlette Road and Frank Road were transferred to Collier County
by the State of Florida Department of Transportation affective July 1, 1978

WHEREAS, all of Goodlette Road from the Tamiami Trail to Golden Cate Park- ' ,
way, and a section of Frank Road from said Parkway to Creech Road lie wholly

Goodlette Road and Frank Road as Coodlette-Frank Road; and
WHEREAS, Collier County has acquired right-of-way to extend frank Road
from Pine Ridge Road to David C. Brown Highway; and
WHEREAS, for the convenience of the motoring public, expeditious response
of emergency vehicles, and further recognition of two distinguished Collier
County families it is preferable to have one name for Goodlette Road and Frank
Road from the Tamiani Trail to David C. Brown Highway; and
NOW, T{EREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners that

Frank Road from Creech Road to Pine Ridge Road in hereby renamed Coodlette- .
�i Frank Road and that the planned extension of Frank Road from Pine Ridge Road to
David C. Brown Highway is hereby named Coodlette-Frank Road.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be recorded in the Public
