RESOLUTION NO. 2017 -
A RESOLUTION BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS,
COLLIER COUNTY FLORIDA, APPROVING, AND AUTHORIZING ITS
CHAIRMAN TO EXECUTE A LOCAL AGENCY PROGRAM
SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF FLORIDA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR CONSTRUCTION AND
CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING INSPECTION OF INTERSECTION
IMPROVEMENTS ON GOLDEN GATE PARKWAY AT LIVINGSTON
ROAD (FPN 433177-1-58/68-01)
WHEREAS, the State of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and Collier County
entered into a Local Agency Program Agreement on February 18, 2016, wherein FDOT agreed to
reimburse Collier County up to the sum of$272,184 for intersection improvements on Golden Gate
Parkway at Livingston Road and up to the sum of $59,179 for Construction Engineering and
Inspection (CEI) of the same; and
WHEREAS, FDOT and Collier County wish to amend the Agreement by entering into the
attached Supplemental Agreement to decrease the CEI funding from $59,179 to $51,628, and
increase the construction funding from $272,184 to $279,735; and
WHEREAS, the Collier County Board of Commissioners finds that the Agreement is in the
public interest and benefits the citizens of Collier County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
1. The Board of County Commissioners approves and authorizes its Chairman to sign the
attached Supplemental Agreement pertaining to FPN 433177-1-58/68-01.
2. The Collier County Clerk is directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution along
with the Agreement for execution by FDOT.
3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
