Notice is hereby given that the Collier County Board of County Commissioners
will hold Workshop on TUESDAY, APRIL 15, 2003 at 9:00 A.M., in the Board of
County Commissioners Boardroom at the Collier County Government Complex,
W. Harmon Turner Building, 3rd Floor, 3301 East Tamiami Trail, Naples, Florida.
The Workshop will include, but may not be limited to, the following:
Santa Barbara-Livingston Road Alignment Workshop
The meeting is open to the public.
Any person who decides to appeal a decision of this Board will need a record of
the proceedings pertaining thereto, and therefore may need to ensure that a
verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony
and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.

As you are likely aware, the Board of County Cormnissioners has been considering the existing
FPL easement as a north/south connector between Radio Road and Davis Boulevard.
After detailed review, we have found such a connector would, require thc taking of several homes
and the recreation center of Moon Lake. No Commissioner is interested in doing this.
As a result, the Board has officially dropped all c,onsideration of the FPL easement option.
Please accept this letter as notification of the. good news! Congratulations on the preservation of
