Each month, The Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce and the Board of Collier
County Commissioners recognize an organization that has enhanced the community
through financial, volunteer and active involvement in organizations and programs that
assist in creating a better quality of life for all citizens in Collier County.
The honoree is presented with a commemorative plaque at the Board of County
Commissioners meeting. A photo and news release is distributed to all Southwest
Florida media and Chamber members, as well as featured in Chamber Connect™, the
Chamber’s website, and promoted through social media.

Business Description (50 words or less): A non profit raising funds to provide equipment,
instruction and facilities to students, veterans, and people with disabilities. Through fund raising
events and sponsorship packages we reinvest back to the community.

How has the organization enhanced the community through financial, volunteer and
active involvement in organizations and programs? (500 words or less):
Pickleball For All is providing equipment and training to Collier County Schools and other
organizations to help support a healthier lifestyle. Pickleball is now part of the curriculum and is
being taught in PE classes. A recent initiative is getting a intramural program started for after
school. Several schools are now adding pickleball courts to their venues due to the efforts we
have put forth.

Our Pickleball For All Veterans program, headed up by Chris Uzzi, is just getting underway and
is already taking off. Our goals are to include pickleball on the lives of our veterans to give
positive reinforcement through exercise and social activities.
We are working with people with disabilities using our adaptive pickleball rules to give these
colleagues of ours an opportunity to enjoy a healthier lifestyle as well.
All of our volunteers get a feeling of enrichment and satisfaction to use a sport they love to better
the lives of others.
