EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to reappoint a member to the Golden Gate Community Center Advisory Board.
OBJECTIVE: To reappoint a member to the Golden Gate Community Center Advisory Board to serve a
three-year term expiring on December 31, 2019.
CONSIDERATIONS: This 5 member committee was created by Ord. No. 75 -4 to advise the Board of
County Commissioners on the budget and operation of the Golden Gate Community Center. Members
must reside within the boundaries of the Golden Gate Community Center Municipal Services Special
Taxing District. Terms are 3 years. A list of the current membership is included in the backup.
William Arthur’s term on this committee expired on December 31, 2016. The vacancy was advertised and
the following application was received:

COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners reappoint William
Arthur to another three-year term, which shall expire on December 31, 2019. A recommendation memo is
included in the backup.
FISCAL IMPACT: None.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: None.
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners adopts the Committee
Recommendation, and directs the County Attorney to prepare a resolution confirming the reappointment.
