P R O C L A M A T I O N
WHEREAS, the Collier County Recycling Ordinance Number 2009 -56, established the
Waste Reduction Awards Program (the WRAP award); and,
WHEREAS, the WRAP award recognizes businesses, institutions, and multi -family
residences for enhanced and innovative recycling programs; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners is pleased to recognize Earth Supplied
Products, LLC for contributing to the greater good of Collier County by
advocating the “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” message thereby helping to prolong the
usable life of the Collier County Landfill; and,
WHEREAS, Earth Supplied Products’ recycling, reuse and source reduction program includes
Incoming boxes are reused to send out customer samples or shipments of
new purchases.
Oversized cardboard boxes are sometimes broken down and used on the
bottom of pallets as slip sheets to keep bags from getting snagged as
orders ship across the country. Any that cannot be used are recycled in the
cardboard dumpster.
All office and similar paper is shredded and used for cushioning in sample or
order shipments. Extra paper is taken to a local ship-and-mail store for
their use.
All paper, cardboard or plastic that comes in from carry out food is
recycled. Cardboard drink holders are returned to restaurants for reuse.
All packaging material that comes in is reused for outbound shipping
packaging.
Any plastic container and metal drums that are serviceable are put back
into service; those that are not are collected by a local salvager who
refurbishes them and resells them for reuse in the community.
WHEREAS, the WRAP award program includes a plaque and space on the county’s website
showcasing eco-friendly business practices and recycling programs; and,
WHEREAS, the Solid and Hazardous Waste Management Division congratulates Mr. Peter
Boncelet, Owner of Earth Supplied Products, LLC and Ingrid I. Parry, Office
Manager.
NOW THEREFORE, be it proclaimed by the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County,
Florida, that we congratulate our latest WRAP Award winner,
EARTH SUPPLIES PRODUCTS, LLC
