EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to appoint one member to the Vanderbilt Beach Beautification MSTU Advisory
Committee.
OBJECTIVE: To appoint a new member to the Vanderbilt Beach Beautification MSTU Advisory
Committee to a four-year term expiring on November 13, 2020.
CONSIDERATIONS: This 5 member committee was established on July 31, 2001 by Ordinance No.
2001-43. The committee assists the BCC in carrying out the purposes of the MSTU, prepares and
recommends to the BCC an itemized budget for the MSTU, and recommends work programs and
priorities to the County Manager. Members must be permanent residents within the MSTU boundaries.
Terms are 4 years. A list of the current membership is included in the backup.
There is one vacancy on this committee. The vacancy was advertised and an application was received
from the following:

RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners adopts the Committee
Recommendation,and directs the County Attorney to prepare a resolution confirming the appointment.
