EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to authorize a budget amendment to recognize carry forward for projects within
the Transportation Supported Gas Tax Fund (313) and CDES Transportation Capital Fund (310)
in the amount of$328,050.99(Projects 60066,60085,69333,69336 and 60132).
OBJECTIVE: For the Board of County Commissioners (Board) to authorize a budget amendment to
recognize carry forward for Traffic Impact Study (TIS) review and Planned Unit Development (PUD)
Fair Share Intersections Projects and Traffic Counts Program within the Transportation Supported Gas
Tax Fund(313)and CDES Transportation Capital Fund(310).
CONSIDERATIONS: Funds have been collected specifically as payment-in-lieu, and project review
fees from the application and monitoring process. These funds are required to be tracked and spent on
projects for which the developments were identified for mitigation, or on consultant contracts to perform
the studies on the developments' behalf under required monitoring conditions.
The revenue received for the Immokalee Road @ CR-951 project is proportionate share payments that
were determined during either the zoning or the site development plan review process.
Funds deposited within FY16 to be recognized as Carry Forward and re-appropriated into FY17 projects
are as follows:

FISCAL IMPACT: A budget amendment is needed to recognize carry forward and appropriate into the
correct projects within the Transportation Gas Tax Fund (313) for $213,993.48 and Transportation &
CDES Capital Fund(310) in the amount of$114,057.51.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed by the County Attorney, does not present
a legal issue and requires a majority vote for Board approval. -JAK
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no growth management impact associated with this
