EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to appoint two members to the Golden Gate Community Center Advisory Board.
OBJECTIVE: To appoint two members to the Golden Gate Community Center Advisory Board to serve
the remainder of vacant terms expiring on December 31,2017.
CONSIDERATIONS: This 5 member committee was created by Ord. No. 75-4 to advise the Board of
County Commissioners on the budget and operation of the Golden Gate Community Center. Members
must reside within the boundaries of the Golden Gate Community Center Municipal Services Special
Taxing District. Terms are 3 years. A list of the current membership is included in the backup.
There are currently two vacancies on this committee. The vacancies were advertised and applications
were received from the following:

Hanson and Ernst Bretzmann to fill the vacant seats, which shall expire on December 31, 2017. A

GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: None.
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners adopts the Committee
Recommendation,and directs the County Attorney to prepare a resolution confirming the appointments.
