EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to approve a budget amendment totaling $269,600 from Fund (112) reserves and
appropriating these dollars within the following Fund (112) projects to continue implementation of
the median capital landscape program: CR951 - Fiddler's Creek to Mainsail Drive (Project No.
60149) for permit fees; Immokalee Road -CR951 to Wilson Blvd. (Project No. 60018); Collier Blvd.
- US 41 to Marino Circle (Project No. 60001); and Santa Barbara - Davis Blvd. to Bridge No.
030206NB, 030205SB at 1-75 (Project No. 62018) for landscape architectural design services.
OBJECTIVE: To continue implementation of the median landscape capital program by establishing
budgets for specific median landscape projects within Landscape Capital Projects Fund (112)by moving
dollars from Fund (112) reserves.
CONSIDERATIONS: As part of the approved Landscape Beautification Master Plan, (June 27, 2016,
Item 11C and September 27, 2016, Item 11D), budget amendment authorization is sought to provide
funding for landscape architectural design for Immokalee Road - CR951 to Wilson Blvd., (Project
No.60018); Collier Blvd. - US 41 E to Marino Circle, (Project No.60001); and Santa Barbara Blvd. -
Davis Blvd. to bridge 030206NB, 030205SB at I-75, (Project No. 62018). Additionally, $9,600 is
requested for permit fees for CR951 -Fiddler's Creek to Mainsail Drive, (Project No.60149).
FISCAL IMPACT: Funding is provided from reserves established for median landscape capital
improvements in Landscape Capital Projects Fund (112). The requested budget amendment is
summarized as follows.
Immokalee Rd. (CR 951-Wilson)Project No. 60018 - $113,043
Collier Blvd. (US 41 East-Marino Circle)Project No. 60001 - $113,043

LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed by the Count Attorney, raises no legal
issue, and requires majority vote for approval. -JAK
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no Growth Management Impact associated with
this Executive Summary.
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners approves a budget amendment
totaling $269,600 from Fund (112) reserves and appropriating these dollars within the following Fund
(112)projects: CR951 - Fiddler's Creek to Mainsail Drive for permit fees; Immokalee Road - CR951 to
Wilson Blvd.; Collier Blvd. - US 41 to Marino Circle; and Santa Barbara - Davis Blvd. to Bridge No.
