EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to authorize execution of the budget amendment in the amount of
$105,000 for communications equipment(9-1-1).
OBWCTIYE: To authorize execution of the budget amendment in the amount of$105,000 for
communications equipment(9-1-1).
CONSIIDERATION: The Collier County Sheriffs Office needs to buy specific communications
equipment that will pro-actively assist the Collier County 9-1-I system with identifying and correcting
discrepancies in 9-1-1 calls made by the citizens and visitors to Collier County.
ELIKAL IMPACT: A budget amendment is needed in the amount of$105,000 to be able to use
Emergency Phone System Funds.
GROWTH MGEMENT: None.
LEGAL CONSIIDERATIONS:,
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners (1) authorize execution of the
budget amendment for the 9-1-1 communications equipment.
