EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to approve adjustment to the pay grade of three current classifications in the
2016 Fiscal Year Classification Plan made from January 1,2016 through March 31,2016.
OBJECTIVE: For the Board of County Commissioners to approve the adjustment to the pay grade of
three current classifications to the 2016 Fiscal Year Classification Plan.
CONSIDERATIONS: Pursuant to Ordinance No. 13-40, the Board of County Commissioners has
authorized the County Manager to make additions, modifications and deletions to the annual Fiscal Year
Pay and Classification Plan, subject to retroactive ratification by the Board. This occurs three times
during the fiscal year—in January, in April and in July.
The modifications to the County's 2016 Fiscal Year Classification Plan (Exhibit 1) consist of the
adjustment to the pay grade of three classifications based on review from the Cody study and
organizational structure.
FISCAL IMPACT: This action will have no fiscal impact to the County.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no growth management impact associated with this

LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been approved as to form and legality and requires
majority vote for approval.—CMG
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board approves the adjustment to the pay grade to three
classifications in the 2016 Fiscal Year Classification Plan.
