EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to reappoint a member to the Radio Road Beautification Advisory
Committee.
OBJECTIVE: To reappoint a member to a four year term on the Radio Road Beautification
MSTU Advisory Committee.
CONSIDERATIONS: This five member committee was created on October 21, 1997 by
Ordinance No. 97-52 to aid and assist the Board of County Commissioners in carrying out the
purposes of providing curbing,watering facilities,plantings and maintenance of the median areas
as set forth in Ordinance No. 96-84. The committee shall recommend work programs and
priorities to the County Manager or his designee. Members shall be permanent residents within
the MSTU. Terms are four years. A list of the current membership is included in the backup.
There is one current vacancy and one seat which expired on March 3, 2016. The vacancies were
advertised and the following application was received:

COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION: That the Board reappoint Mr. Lewis to the committee
for another four year term which shall expire on March 3, 2020. A recommendation memo is
attached.
FISCAL IMPACT: None.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: None.
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners adopts the Committee
Recommendation, and directs the County Attorney to prepare a resolution confirming the
reappointment.
