RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO
COLLIER COUNTY'S 1983 COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT AS RECOMMENDED
BY THE CITIZENS ADVISORY TASK FORCE
AND AUTHORIZING STAFF TO FORWARD SUCH
AMENDMENT TO THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF
COMMUNITY AFFAIRS.

, r ,f., WHEREAS, Collier County's 1983 Community Development Block Grant is
in need of one (1) Contract Amendment; and,
WHEREAS, The Citizens Advisory Task Force held an Advertised Public
z Hearing on June 5, 1986 at 5:00 p.m. at the Collier County Government
•7 I y'y�. Complex Naples, Florida to discuss the proposed contract Amendment; and,
.f WHEREAS, Public Notice advising of the Citizens Advisory Task Force
A•aY,' meeting was published in the non-legal section of the Naples Daily News

and the Immokalee Bulletin; and,

'°. WHEREAS, The Citizens Advisory Task Force considered the proposed
contract amendment and solicited public input; and,
WHEREAS, The Citizen. Advisory Task Force voted to forward the
amendment to the Board of County Commissioners with a recommendation
for approval;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS of
• Collier County, Florida, that:
+, . I. The following Amendment to Collier County's 1983 Community
Development Block Grant is approved as recommended by the Citizens
Advisory Task Force; specifically, Contract No. 84LG-53-09-21-01-H34
dated June 14, 1984, by and between the Department of Community Affairs
in Collier County, is hereby amended as follows:
1. To amend clause 13, the contract termination data from
Nereh-1$T-I986 ee-June-127-1986T to September 12, 1986.
II. That staff is authorized to forward said Amendment to the
Florida Department of Community Affairs for their consideration and
approval.
