A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA
AUTHORIZING FINAL ACCEPTANCE OF CERTAIN
ROADWAY AND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS IN
RIVERWOOD EAST, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF
RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 13, PAGE 13; AND ACCEPTANCE
OF THE MAINTENANCE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE
ROADWAY AND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS WITHIN THE
PUBLIC ROAD RIGHTS OF WAY.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County, Florida, on January
20, 1981 approved the plat of Riverwood East for recording; and
WHEREAS, on November 5, 1985, the required improvements received preliminary
acceptance; and
WHEREAS, the Property Owners are requesting final acceptance of the roadway and
drainage improvements within the public road rights of way depicted on this plat; and
WHEREAS, the Transportation Services Division has inspected the roadway and
drainage improvements within the public road rights of way, and is recommending final
acceptance of said facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that final acceptance is hereby
granted for those roadway and drainage improvements in Riverwood East, pursuant to the plat
thereof recorded in Plat Book 13, Page 13.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED AND ORDERED that the roadway and drainage
improvements within Riverwood East public road rights of way will be maintained by Collier
County. The drainage system and lakes outside of the public road rights of way will be privately
maintained by the Riverwood Estates Homeowners Association, Inc.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote favoring same, this
