The Chairman's signature line date has been entered as the date of BCC approval of the SRT document or the final negotiated contract date whichever is applicable. 6. "Sign here"tabs are placed on the appropriate pages indicating where the Chairman's SRT signature and initials are required. 7. In most cases(some contracts are an exception),the original document and this routing slip SRT should be provided to the County Attorney Office at the time the item is input into SIRE. Some documents are time sensitive and require forwarding to Tallahassee within a certain time frame or the BCC's actions are nullified. Be aware of your deadlines! 8. The document was approved by the BCC on 4/22/14 and all changes made during the SRT meeting have been incorporated in the attached document. WHEREAS, Section 274.06, Florida Statutes, allows the Board of County Commissioners the authority to conduct auctions to sell county-owned surplus property, and trade or donate items that no longer have a useful business purpose;and WHEREAS, from time to time the Board of Commissioners authorizes county staff to sell at auction, trade or donate property that no longer has a useful business purpose, including motor vehicles and off-highway vehicles;and WHEREAS, Chapter 319 of the Florida Statutes sets forth the proper procedure to endorse and transfer title to a person acquiring a motor and off-highway vehicles;and WHEREAS, after the Board has approved the sale of county-owned surplus property at auction, trade or donation all that remains is the ministerial duty to complete the necessary paperwork to transfer title for such sale;and WHEREAS, the Board desires to authorize the County Manager or designee to execute certificates of title and/or any other related paperwork, including but not limited to odometer disclosure statements, necessary to transfer title for all county-owned motor and off- highway vehicles sold at Board authorized auctions,trade or donations. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County, Florida, that the County Manager and/or designee is hereby authorized to perform the ministerial function of executing any certificate of title and/or any other related paperwork, including but not limited to odometer disclosure statements, necessary to transfer title for all county-owned motor and off-highway vehicles sold at Board authorized auctions, trade or donations. 1 16E3 This Resolution adopted after motion, second, and majority vote favoring same, this 22`d day of April, 2014.
