HEX Final Decision 2015-27 HEX NO. 2015—27 HEARING EXAMINER DECISION PETITION NO. SV-PL20140002329 — Gregg Appliances, Inc. requests a variance from Section 5.06.04.F.4. of the Land Development Code to allow one additional wall sign for a total of two wall signs for Unit #52 at the Carillon Place Shopping Center within the Carillon Planned Unit Development in Section 13, Township 49 South, Range 25 East, Collier County, Florida. DATE OF HEARING: June 25, 2015 STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Approval. FINDINGS: Based on the applicant's written petition, testimony at the hearing of the applicant and the recommendation of staff, the Hearing Examiner finds that the criteria set forth in Section 5.06.08 B of the Land Development Code has been met and the petition should be approved. ANALYSIS: There were no members of the public in attendance. No communications from the public were received either for or in opposition to this request. DECISION: Petition SV-PL20140002329, filed by Michael Boyd of Signcraft/Signs & Things, representing Gregg Appliances, Inc., with respect to the property hereinafter described, is hereby approved for a variance from Section 5.06.04.F.4 of the Land Development Code to increase the number of signs for Unit #52 at the Carillon Place Shopping Center for a total of two wall signs, in accordance with the Conceptual Sign Elevation attached as Exhibit "A", and as subject to the condition(s) set forth below. ATTACHMENTS: Exhibit A—Conceptual Sign Elevation LEGAL DESCRIPTION: See Tract B of the Carillon PUD, Ordinance 91-111, as amended. Pursuant to Ordinance 2013-25, as amended, a Hearing Examiner Decision may be appealed to the Board of County Commissioners or the Board of Zoning Appeals, as appropriate.
