THE COLLIER COUNTY HEARING EXAMINER
WILL HOLD A HEARING AT 9:00 AM ON THURSDAY, MAY 28, 2015 IN CONFERENCE ROOM 610 AT
THE GROWTH MANAGEMENT DIVISION BUILDING, 2800 N. HORSESHOE DRIVE, NAPLES,
FLORIDA.
INDIVIDUAL SPEAKERS WILL BE LIMITED TO 5 MINUTES UNLESS OTHERWISE WAIVED BY THE
HEARING EXAMINER. PERSONS WISHING TO HAVE WRITTEN OR GRAPHIC MATERIALS
INCLUDED IN THE HEARING REPORT PACKETS MUST HAVE THAT MATERIAL SUBMITTED TO
COUNTY STAFF 10 DAYS PRIOR TO THE HEARING. ALL MATERIALS USED DURING
PRESENTATION AT THE HEARING WILL BECOME A PERMANENT PART OF THE RECORD.
ANY PERSON WHO DECIDES TO APPEAL A DECISION OF THE HEARING EXAMINER WILL NEED A
RECORD OF THE PROCEEDINGS PERTAINING THERETO, AND THEREFORE MAY NEED TO
ENSURE THAT A VERBATIM RECORD OF THE PROCEEDINGS IS MADE, WHICH RECORD

district, located at Lot 26, Block 22, Naples Park Unit No. 2, in Section 28, Township 48

HEARING EXAMINER STRAIN: Okay. Good morning,everyone. Welcome to the Thursday,May 28th
meeting of the Collier County Hearing Examiner's Office.
We will--because there are no members of the public here and because we are going to simply
announce a discontinuance of the one agenda item today,or movement of it,at least,we won't go into the
formalities we normally do to start out.
The only item on the agenda today is the advertised public hearing,Petitioner Number
VA-PL20120002648,Branislav Vukovic,for a variance in Naples Park.
Yesterday morning I received a package that was delivered to Fred Reischl on Tuesday,containing a
voluminous amount of emails,most of which were strongly not in favor of this particular variance. We had
received a few other emails prior to that,some for,some against,but as a result of that quantity of emails I
requested that this petition be moved to the standard procedure through the Planning Commission and the
Board of County Commissioners. And that's the route it is going to retake.
There are no members of the public here today,and I asked yesterday for Fred to please contact those
numbers of emails that had sent in.
Fred,could you tell us approximately how many emails you sent out and responses?
MR.REISCHL: I sent approximately 60 emails to various interested parties,and I got two responses
saying thank you,but--and also three emails were bumped back as not deliverable. 1
HEARING EXAMINER STRAIN: Okay. So it looks like everybody that was concerned that had
sent an email probably got an email in some form from you to the best of your ability.
MR.REISCHL: That sounds reasonable.
HEARING EXAMINER STRAIN: And with that,that particular item's being moved to the Planning
Commission,it will be rescheduled accordingly. I
I notice the applicant isn't here today,which I'm glad we were notified.
MR.REISCHL: He was notified as well,yes.
HEARING EXAMINER STRAIN: Okay. So with that,we have no other advertised public
hearings,no other business and there's no members of the public here to comment. And with that,this
meeting is adjourned. Thank you all.
