Resolution 2015-104 RESOLUTION NO. 2015 - 1 04
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, REAPPOINTING PATRICIA SHERRY
AND JERRY P. MORGAN TO THE COLLIER COUNTY WATER AND
WASTEWATER AUTHORITY.
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 96-6 established the Collier County Water
and Wastewater Authority to regulate utility rates and related matters regarding non-exempt
water and wastewater utilities in unincorporated Collier County; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 96-6, as amended, provides that the Authority shall be
composed of five members; three members with technical expertise and two members with
experience in any area of regulation; and
WHEREAS, the terms of three members expired on May 21, 2015; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties.
WHEREAS, the Water and Wastewater Authority has provided the Board of County
Commissioners with its recommendation for reappointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that PATRICIA SHERRY and
JERRY P. MORGAN, both in the category of member with technical expertise, are hereby
individually reappointed to their respective seats on the Collier County Water and Wastewater
Authority for four-year terms expiring on May 21, 2019.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED upon majority vote on the 26th day of May, 2015.
