Resolution 2015-084 RESOLUTION NO. 2015 - 84 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPOINTING ANDREA HALMAN AND JOSEPH MUCHA TO THE IMMOKALEE ENTERPRISE ZONE DEVELOPMENT AGENCY. WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 95-22 created the Immokalee Enterprise Zone Development Agency to encourage the principles of economic opportunity and job creation, sustainable community development, community-based partnerships, and a strategic vision for change and effective local fiscal and regulatory incentives; and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 95-22, as subsequently amended, provides that this Agency shall consist of not fewer than eight (8) or more than thirteen (13) members and shall include at least one representative from specified organizations; and WHEREAS, there are four vacancies on this Agency; and WHEREAS, Christina Perez, representing local code enforcement, has been reassigned out of the Immokalee area, and Joseph Mucha has been designated the new Immokalee District supervisor for code enforcement; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice soliciting applications from interested parties; and WHEREAS, the Immokalee Enterprise Zone Development Agency has provided the Board of County Commissioners with its recommendation for appointment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that ANDREA HALMAN, in the category of local resident, and JOSEPH MUCHA, in the category of Local Code Enforcement Agency, are hereby each appointed to the Immokalee Enterprise Zone Development Agency to serve four-year terms expiring on April 4, 2019.
